About PDF Watermark

PDF Watermark stamps your text — CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, SAMPLE, a company name — diagonally across the centre of every page in large, light-grey letters. It is the usual way to mark drafts and discourage casual copying of documents you share.

The text size adapts to each page, Gujarati and Hindi text are supported, and the page content remains readable underneath. Files are sent over HTTPS, processed on our server and deleted automatically after you download the result.

How to use PDF Watermark

  1. Upload the PDF.
  2. Type the watermark text.
  3. Press Add Watermark and download the result.

Key features

  • Diagonal (45°) watermark on every page
  • Size adapts to the page
  • English, Gujarati and Hindi text
  • Light grey so content stays readable

When to use PDF Watermark

  • Marking documents as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL before circulating them.
  • Adding "SAMPLE" or "SPECIMEN" to certificates or templates shown publicly.
  • Putting your name across a portfolio or design PDF sent to clients.

Tips and common problems

  • Short words (DRAFT, COPY) are more readable than long sentences when drawn diagonally.
  • Watermark a copy and keep the clean original.
  • For a logo instead of text, use Image Watermark.
