Developer & Utility Tools
A complete toolbox for developers and power users. Format, validate and convert JSON, XML and YAML; encode and decode Base64 and URLs; escape code for many languages; and generate UUIDs, hashes, passwords and placeholder text.
Most of these tools run entirely in your browser, so your data never leaves your device — ideal for sensitive content.

Which tool should I use?
Format, validate, view or convert?
Formatters (JSON, XML, YAML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL) change only the layout, to make code readable or compact. Validators check syntax and point to the line of the first error. Viewers show data as a collapsible tree for exploring large documents. Converters change the format itself — JSON to XML, YAML to JSON, CSV to YAML and so on.
Escape, encode or hash?
Escaping makes text safe inside a particular kind of code — an HTML page, a JSON string, a SQL literal or a Java string — and every language has its own rules, so use the matching escape tool. Encoding changes how data is represented for transport: Base64 turns any text into safe ASCII characters, and URL encoding makes text safe inside a link. Neither is encryption. Hashing creates a fixed-length fingerprint that cannot be reversed, used to verify files.
Everyday utilities
JWT Decoder reads tokens, Regex Tester builds and tests patterns, Cron Parser explains schedules, Timestamp Converter reads epoch times, and UUID, password and Lorem Ipsum generators create test data. Almost all developer tools run entirely in your browser, so the data you paste never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions
Do the developer tools work offline?
Many of them — the JSON formatter, Base64 encoder, case converter, hash generator and others — run entirely in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Can I convert between JSON, XML and YAML?
Yes, in every direction, and the converters preserve your data structure.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
For the in-browser tools, no. Your data stays on your device.
Are they free?
Yes, every developer tool is free with no sign-up.
