FilesSwift (filesswift.com) is run by Sangani Infotech, India. This page explains the limits of what the site offers, so you know what you can rely on. It works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Check every result
Our tools are provided free of charge and "as is". Conversions between formats are not always perfect: fonts can be replaced, complex layouts can shift, tables can break across pages, and formats such as JPG and MP3 lose quality by design. Text recognition (OCR) can misread characters, especially on poor scans. Always open and check the result before you submit, print or share it, and keep your original file.
2. Forms, exams and government portals
FilesSwift is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any government department, exam board, bank or application portal, even where our guides mention them as examples.
Size limits, dimensions and file types in our guides are examples of what such forms commonly ask for, and they change. The official notification for your form is always the correct source. We are not responsible for a rejected application, a missed deadline or any other consequence of a file you submit.
3. Not legal, financial or security advice
Tools such as Sign PDF, Protect PDF, Bates Numbering and Excel Password Protect are conveniences. They do not give legal, financial or professional advice. A signature image placed on a PDF is not automatically a legally valid digital signature, and a password does not make a file safe in every situation. Ask a qualified professional when a document really matters.
4. Passwords and documents that are not yours
Unlock PDF is only for PDFs you own and whose password you know. It does not crack or guess passwords. You are responsible for having the right to process every file you upload; see the Acceptable use section of our Terms of Service.
5. Developer tools and generated values
Output from the developer tools (formatters, converters, escapers, regular expressions, cron explanations and so on) is meant to help you work faster. Test it before using it in production. For security-sensitive work, follow your organisation's own policies; for example, do not paste live secrets or tokens into any website you have not reviewed, including ours, even though these tools run in your browser.
6. Availability
We try to keep the site running, but a tool may be slow or unavailable at times, and we may change or remove tools. Do not rely on FilesSwift as your only way to meet an urgent deadline.
7. External links and advertising
Our pages may link to other websites and may show ads from Google AdSense and its partners. We do not control those sites or ads, and showing an ad or link does not mean we recommend the product or service. How advertising cookies work, and how to opt out, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
8. Guides and accuracy
Our guides are written to be correct and useful at the date shown on each one, but software, formats and rules change. If you find a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it.
