About HTML to Markdown
HTML to Markdown converts web content into clean Markdown for README files, wikis, documentation sites, Notion, Obsidian or GitHub. Headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, links, images, lists, blockquotes, horizontal rules and code blocks are converted to their Markdown equivalents.
Scripts and styles are dropped and HTML entities are decoded, so you get readable text rather than markup. Everything runs locally in your browser — the text you paste is never uploaded.
