About ZIP Creator

ZIP Creator packs several files into a single .zip archive so you can send or upload them as one attachment. It uses maximum compression, which shrinks text, documents and spreadsheets considerably.

If two files have the same name, the second is renamed automatically (for example "report (1).pdf"), so nothing is overwritten when the ZIP is extracted. ZIP files open natively on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.

How to use ZIP Creator

  1. Upload the files you want to bundle — you can add several at once.
  2. Press Create ZIP.
  3. Download the .zip archive.

Key features

  • Combine many files into one .zip
  • Maximum compression level
  • Duplicate names renamed, never overwritten
  • Opens on every operating system without extra software

When to use ZIP Creator

  • Sending many documents as one email attachment.
  • Uploading a set of files to a portal that accepts only one file.
  • Bundling project files, invoices or photos for an archive.

Tips and common problems

  • Text, Word, Excel and CSV files compress well; photos and videos barely shrink.
  • Email services often limit attachments to about 20–25 MB including the ZIP.
  • Give files clear names before zipping — the names inside the ZIP are what the recipient sees.

Frequently asked questions

Photos, videos and MP3s are already compressed, so ZIP can only shrink them slightly. Text, Word, Excel and PDF files usually compress much better.
