About Image Watermark

Image Watermark places your logo or any picture in the centre of every page of a PDF as a semi-transparent watermark. It is a simple way to brand proposals, mark drafts or discourage copying of documents you share.

The image is scaled to fit within half of the page in each direction, keeping its proportions, and drawn faintly so the page content stays readable. PNG files with transparent backgrounds give the cleanest result.

How to use Image Watermark

  1. Upload the PDF, then upload the watermark image (PNG with a transparent background works best).
  2. Press Add Watermark.
  3. Download the watermarked PDF.

Key features

  • Logo or picture centred on every page
  • Scaled automatically, proportions kept
  • Semi-transparent so the text stays readable
  • Accepts PNG and JPG; other image types are converted

When to use Image Watermark

  • Branding brochures, quotations and proposals with a company logo.
  • Marking photo proofs or design drafts you send to a client.
  • Adding a "SAMPLE" image stamp to documents shared for review.

Tips and common problems

  • A PNG logo with a transparent background looks far better than a JPG with a white box.
  • Simple, high-contrast logos stay recognisable when drawn faintly; detailed photos turn muddy.
  • The image is scaled to half the page, so a small logo file is enough — it does not need to be large.

Frequently asked questions

Yes — use PDF Watermark for text such as "CONFIDENTIAL" or "DRAFT".
